Mission and Philosophy
When Lakeshore Press was established in 1985 the main objective was to publish quality books at reasonable prices for use in colleges and universities. Although the primary focus has been engineering communication and professional ethics, other texts useful to students in all disciplines will be considered for publication.
In 2005, with the re-establishment of an independent Estonia, Lakeshore Press became the pre-eminent publisher of books of interest to Estonians living outside of Estonia. The topics include Estonian culture, language and history. Lakeshore Press books are all written in English and are marketed in Estonia as well as by direct mail to the rest of the world.
